There is no intimacy apart from vulnerability. Vulnerability is the decision to disclose my true thoughts, emotions and intentions despite fear of rejection, and it's a critical spiritual practice.
I have found a deep resonance in pursuing the difference between transparency and vulnerability. I continue to pursue it because of the work God is doing and the obvious ways He continues to bless it, but I am so often tempted to keep all of it to myself and BE the hero of my own story. 💔
